The El Dorado Hills Staff is reading . . .
Sandra - Sunshine by Robin McKinley -"Excellent!"
Janis - The Wild Trees by Preston - "A page turner!"
Wes - No Time for Goodbye by Barclay - "A thriller." (Wes is reading this in German)
Susan - Empire Falls by Richard Russo - "Very enjoyable, so far."
The El Dorado Hills Branch has recently launched an adult book club, and we started our group by reading Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. It was quite a lively discussion! Our book for April is Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, and we'll follow with Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Join us!

SLT Library Club & Current Personal Reads
Last book discussed by the SLT Library Club for Men: Last man standing by David Baldacci.
A good companion read to the above is: Cold Zero by Christopher Whitcomb.
The club has decided to read Appaloosa by Robert B. Parker. This is a little out of my element and will be the first (gasp!) Western I'll have read.
I've started playing bass (5 String Fretless & 6 String Fretted) and guitar (ESP EC-200) again, so my current bookshelf includes Dan Erlewine's Guitar Player Repair Guide. I'll be doing a full setups on my guitar/bass mob with this book as a reference.
All the above books are available at the El Dorado County Library.

Stephanie Plum series
One for the Money... Two for the Dough... I love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I can't wait for Fearless Fourteen!
